How to Use: Roller Rescue Soothing Serum

Say goodbye to ingrown hairs, razor burn and irritation with Roller Rescue Soothing Serum. Roller Rescue is a lightweight serum that gently smooths rough texture, helps visibly clear pores, and relieves redness after hair removal. Paired with an easy-to-use stainless steel rollerball applicator for a soothing and cooling effect. It's formulated with AHAs, BHAs, and Aloe Leaf Juice, three ingredients known for their smoothing and soothing properties:

  • Glycolic Acid (AHA): Helps to exfoliate the skin’s surface, improving texture and radiance.
  • Salicylic Acid (BHA): Penetrates deep into pores, reducing buildup and preventing ingrown hairs.
  • Aloe Leaf Juice: Provides intensive moisture and reduces the appearance of redness on skin.

What Are Ingrown Hairs or Razor Bumps?

An ingrown hair is a hair strand that grows back into the skin, as opposed to growing up and through the skin’s surface. Ingrown hairs are often accompanied by uncomfortable symptoms such as redness, itching and even acne-like bumps. They can appear all over the body, typically on the underarms, bikini line, and legs. While it's completely normal, many of us strive for an even skin tone to feel our best. The good news is that with the right products and a consistent routine, you can achieve bump-free, smooth skin.

When to Use Roller Rescue

After hair removal, it’s important to follow up with a targeted treatment designed to prevent irritation. Enter Bushbalm’s Roller Rescue Soothing Serum.

Apply serum whenever you experience ingrown hairs, bumps, or redness, and always after hair removal. For best results, incorporate it into your daily routine to help reduce the occurrence of ingrown hairs.

AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) and BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) are generally safe for daily use in your skincare routine. However, if you’re new to using AHA and BHA products or have sensitive skin, it’s a good idea to ease into it slowly and gradually increase as your skin becomes accustomed to them. Always use sunscreen when using these acids during the day in areas exposed, as they can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.

For Best Results: Moisturize and Protect with Nude Ingrown Hair Oil

Hydrating oils are essential for locking in moisture and soothing the skin, especially after hair removal. Ending your routine with a soothing oil like Bushbalm's Nude Ingrown Hair Oil can help reduce the appearance of bumps and prevent ingrown hairs. This effective oil features a blend of powerful ingredients:

      • Grape Seed Oil: Rich in antioxidants, it deeply hydrates and calms the skin.
      • Jojoba Seed Oil: Balances moisture levels and soothes post-hair removal irritation.
      • Tea Tree Oil: Known for its antimicrobial properties, it helps prevent ingrown hairs and reduces redness.

For best results we recommend applying within 2 minutes of bathing when skin is most absorbent. Nude Oil can be used daily, morning or night, simply apply a generous amount onto skin, and massage until absorbed.

General Tips Adding a Chemical Exfoliant

      • Always follow the instructions provided with the AHA or BHA product you’re using.

      • Begin with a low concentration of AHA or BHA and gradually increase if necessary.

      • For those with sensitive skin, it may be best to stick with twice-a-week usage during Weeks 1-4, and then increase to three times a week for Weeks 4 and 5.

      • Apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 during the day to protect your skin from increased sensitivity to the sun.

      • If you experience severe irritation, redness, or discomfort, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.

      • Remember, each person’s skin is unique, so it’s important to listen to your skin’s response and adjust the frequency of acid usage accordingly.

      When Will I See Results?

Typically our customers start seeing results after 2-3 weeks of regular use. With ingrown hairs and razor bumps results will take time, which is why consistency is crucial, so remember to stick to a regular routine.

It's important to mention that everyone's skin is different and may experience results on a different timeline.

"I love the Bushbalm products. I was very skeptical at first with most products which seem to have a high 5 start rating but after using the products I found that the reviews are true. I have struggled for years with dark spots and scaring on my bikini line. I avoided wearing cute bikinis due to my dark spots. Now with the products for dark spots and the Roller Rescue my skin is going back to normal. Thank you Bushbalm!"
